Amish are characterized as humble folk--hard working, neighborly, otherwordly, agrarian, God-fearing, ethnically homogenous--who live the simple life and live it well.

No, Their philosophy are based in the Simplicity and humility, so education and training is limited elementary levels.

There is much neighboring in the community, and helping each other is the most common way of socializing. They carry no life or property insurance; the church assists in cases of major loss. Large families generally give assurance of care for the elderly.

6. Have you ever known about Amish?
No is the first time that I read about them.

7. What do you think of the lifestyle of Amish? Do you want to live your life in Amish Community?
In my opinion they have their own culture and they are happy in this way, they don’t have too much contact with other people, so they are not accustomed to the commodities of modern life. This is good for them. No, I don’t like their life style, I have my own culture and happy with my life style.

6. Yes, I have heard about this. Although I only had one image of them, and that is "strict" poeple. I have learned a lot of things from your article!

7. I think I can survive there for only 3 months. Because I was born in city side. I know many convenient tools, so I can not be patient in Amish society. If it`s possible I just want to do homestay in 1,2 weeks in Amish community.

2. Amish are characterized as humble folk--hard working, neighborly, otherworldly, agrarian, God-fearing, and ethnically homogenous.

3. No.

4. The answer is not clear stated in the article; however, it indicates that manual labor is good and they prefer work in harmony with nature, the soil, the weather and care of animals and plants. It Looks like they like a profession way.

5. The church assists in cases of major loss.

6. No, I haven’t.

7. I think I don’t like to live in their community; even they have some good ideas such as their believing in God, caring of the nature, and mutual helping. I agree of their interpretation of II Cor. 6:14 about no intermarriage are allowed. However, one can do the commandment of helping the people teaching them the God Bible better living close to cities and towns.
